Dancing IRS Employees And The Legitimacy Of Government

It's hard work, you know, serving as an extension of the perpetual Obama political campaign. Little wonder the IRS found and extra $50 million dollars laying around for employee conferences these past few years, and some 30k of that for this fascinating line-dancing video.

Increasingly, it has become clear that the IRS has become an extension of the political arm of the Obama regime. When Obama declared, 'They bring a knife, we bring a gun', he wasn't kidding. When he boasted about going after his enemies, he wasn't kidding.

OS has a prediction to make: As the pieces of this scandal come together, and the jigsaw puzzle of facts and anecdotes is assembled, the very legitimacy of the 2012 Presidential election will come into question.

The rallies for Romney in Ohio were huge in the days approaching the election, while Obama's folks struggled to fill even modest halls.

So many states weren't even contested...the entire election felt, well, oddly contrived, strangely manipulated. There was genuine shock at Obama's win, especially after he lost the endorsement of normally loyal newspapers. OS asked friends in Ohio how this could have happened, and they shook their heads, either saying 'I don't know', or 'Cleveland'. Even the coal miners voted Romney this time.
Something just didn't add up, but no one knew how to explain it.

The stories now being told about the deliberate campaign of the IRS to intimidate political opposition may well be the tip of the iceberg.  The 2012 may have been manipulated to the point of fraudulence.

If this does become apparent, we are in a world of trouble. Obama will never resign, and no impeachment could succeed without a healthy GOP majority in the Senate after November 2014.

We are in a world of trouble. OS is not calling for the President's head. He is urging one and all to pray for this nation, and to prepare themselves for a rough and painful ride.

The Articles Of Impeachment Filed Against Richard Nixon

The damage control machine is in full gear now, with this conversation between Dan Pfeiffer (White House shill-of-the-week), and George (I-owe-my-career-to-the-Clintons) Stephanapolous.

The quote of the day is: 'The law is irrelevant', followed by immediate back-tracking--that's ok, the message made it out there into the open air. There was also the vow to engage in a 'modified limited hang-out' mode (in Haldeman and Erlichmann mode). Followed by condescending language about the Republicans, saying that what they're really mad about is losing the election and that Obamacare still lives. He was at pains to protect Obamacare, no. matter. what. And that they owe Susan Rice an apology for pointing out that she spread falsehoods.

This White House, like the Nixon White House, has decided to brazen their way through it. Facts be damned, law be damned, truth be damned, the Constitution be especially damned, The President Is Above The Law And Don't You Forget It, How Dare You Ask Disrespectful Questions.

The frightening revelation, details aside, of the Nixon years, was that the re-election campaign of 1972 (run by an organization aptly named CREEP) involved the enlistment of much of the Federal Government as a tool to accomplish that goal. The IRS was involved. The Attorney General was involved, the CIA was involved...on it went. There was no line that separated the government from the political operation. It was frightening to contemplate, as we were on the road to a dictatorship.

Fast forward forty years, here we are again. This will not end well. Read below to understand why. The words below are in the historical record, the actual words used to recommend impeachment.

This will not end well. The individual scandals will break upon the administration like a hurricane. It will just keep raining, but this President will never resign his post. It is his only identity, his one life's quest. He will never surrender it, his strength of will puts Nixon and even Bill Clinton in the shade. He will play the race card, the class card, and eventually perhaps even a religion card or two.

This will not end well. OS fears the dots will connect, and lead directly to the President and his staff.

Here are the articles of impeachment passed by the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives which led to Nixon's eventual resignation on July 27 1974.

Article 2 is especially troubling:

Article 2

Using the powers of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in disregard of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has repeatedly engaged in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, impairing the due and proper administration of justice and the conduct of lawful inquiries, or contravening the laws governing agencies of the executive branch and the purposed of these agencies.
This conduct has included one or more of the following:
  1. He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavoured to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, confidential information contained in income tax returns for purposed not authorized by law, and to cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be intitiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner.
  2. He misused the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Secret Service, and other executive personnel, in violation or disregard of the constitutional rights of citizens, by directing or authorizing such agencies or personnel to conduct or continue electronic surveillance or other investigations for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office; he did direct, authorize, or permit the use of information obtained thereby for purposes unrelated to national security, the enforcement of laws, or any other lawful function of his office; and he did direct the concealment of certain records made by the Federal Bureau of Investigation of electronic surveillance.
  3. He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, in violation or disregard of the constitutional rights of citizens, authorized and permitted to be maintained a secret investigative unit within the office of the President, financed in part with money derived from campaign contributions, which unlawfully utilized the resources of the Central Intelligence Agency, engaged in covert and unlawful activities, and attempted to prejudice the constitutional right of an accused to a fair trial.
  4. He has failed to take care that the laws were faithfully executed by failing to act when he knew or had reason to know that his close subordinates endeavoured to impede and frustrate lawful inquiries by duly constituted executive, judicial and legislative entities concerning the unlawful entry into the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, and the cover-up thereof, and concerning other unlawful activities including those relating to the confirmation of Richard Kleindienst as Attorney General of the United States, the electronic surveillance of private citizens, the break-in into the offices of Dr. Lewis Fielding, and the campaign financing practices of the Committee to Re-elect the President.
  5. In disregard of the rule of law, he knowingly misused the executive power by interfering with agencies of the executive branch, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Criminal Division, and the Office of Watergate Special Prosecution Force, of the Department of Justice, and the Central Intelligence Agency, in violation of his duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed.
In all of this, Richard M. Nixon has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.
Wherefore Richard M. Nixon, by such conduct, warrants impeachment and trial, and removal from office.
Adopted 28-10 by the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives.

It's A Family Affair: The Barack H Obama Foundation Fast-Tracked For Non-Profit Clearance By The IRS

Obviously, there was 'adequate supervisory oversight' to see this application through, and even make the date of non-profit status retroactive....sweeeeeet...

It helps to be the President's half brother, raising funds to build a madrasa back home in Kenya...and the poor gent has twelve wives to keep fed. This brother's got him some bills to pay, ya'll.  If you think this is not a good way to run a government, you be a raaaaaaaacist! Just ask Chris Matthews and that fount of good character Al Sharpton.

Of course, Donna Brazile, one of the meanest operators in contemporary politics (she ran Al Gore's campaign in 2000, amongst other things) is now pontificating that the real problem is that folks are getting all bent out of shape over these minor matters...if we would just all sit down, shut up, and let people like her run the show, we'd all be so much better off.

Scuse' us, Donna, if we don't follow your advice....
